Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We have you covered.

Northwoods Haven loves to work with our clients and offer our care to as many people in our community as possible. This is why we do accept most major private insurances as well as cash pay options that work for our clients.

We do not currently accept Medicaid for our outpatient treatment options in Minneapolis, MN.

We are currently open for enrollment in our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs (IOP) for substance use disorder and dual diagnosis mental health disorders. We have groupt therapy, individual therapy, massage therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Depending on the individual needs of our clients, our intensive outpatient treatment programs will usually be 3 hour sessions, 3-4 days per week, and can last anywhere from 4-12 weeks before phasing down to less intensive therapy sessions as we work with you for whole-life healing and reintegration post addiction.

The total cost of our programs is dependent on the individual needs of each of our clients. Most major insurances will cover some or all of the costs and we will go over everything with you prior to beginning treatment so you know exactly what insurance is paying and what you are responsible for.
